Travis Herring, Deanna Lobinsky, Katherine Ridgway and Chase Kulp Selected to Lease Stockbridge’s Recently Acquired Mixed-Use Complex in Downtown Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, January 31, 2018 — Cushman & Wakefield has been named exclusive leasing advisor for 110 East Broward, a 343,296-square-foot office tower and retail complex in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale.
The office leasing team of Travis Herring, Deanna Lobinsky, Katherine Ridgway and Chase Kulp were selected to lease 110 East Broward by San Francisco-based owner Stockbridge Capital Group (Stockbridge), which recently acquired the asset.
110 East Broward comprises two buildings in downtown Fort Lauderdale — a 24-story, 304,411-square-foot office tower and a two-story, 38,885-square-foot office and retail building. The buildings were developed in 1981 and renovated in 1999. The complex, which can currently accommodate a large tenant up to ±125,000 square feet, features an above-market parking ratio as well as on-site dining, property management and security.
Stockbridge intends to reposition and modernize the building by implementing an extensive capital enhancement program, which includes both exterior and interior improvements.
The property’s location at 110 East Broward Boulevard places it within walking distance of the renowned retail, dining and art venues along Las Olas Boulevard as well as the Fort Lauderdale Brightline Station, while also providing convenient access for potential users throughout South Florida via Interstate 95, less than two miles to the west.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for our team to work alongside an acclaimed institutional owner like Stockbridge as they embark on renovating and repositioning 110 East Broward,” said Herring. “This building has tremendous upside and visibility at the gateway to downtown Fort Lauderdale, and we look forward to helping it reach its full potential.”
