Cushman & Wakefield Negotiates Three Leases Totaling ±76,000 SF at Pompano Center of Commerce II

The Team of Chris Metzger, Richard F. Etner Jr., Christopher Thomson and Matthew G. McAllister Secured Leases with Crown Products, Warehouse Restaurant Supply and Gourmet Innovations

POMPANO BEACH, FL, November 9, 2018Cushman & Wakefield has negotiated three industrial leases totaling 76,105 square feet at Pompano Center of Commerce II, a new warehouse and distribution center developed by Butters Construction & Development in Broward County.

The South Florida Industrial Brokerage Team of Chris Metzger, Richard F. Etner Jr., Christopher Thomson and Matthew G. McAllister represented Pompano Industrial Venture, LLC, a joint development between Butters Construction & Development and an institutional capital partner, in securing leases with Crown Products, Warehouse Restaurant Supply and Gourmet Innovations.

The leases bring Buildings Six, Seven and Eight of Pompano Center of Commerce II to 67% percent occupancy. A total of 106,193 square feet of space remains available in these three buildings, which total 318,062 square feet.

All three tenants are expected to take occupancy in Pompano Center of Commerce II during 4Q 2018. Details of the three leases can be found below:

Crown Products

Crown Products has relocated within Pompano Beach to 28,787 square feet in Building Eight of Pompano Center of Commerce II at 1650 NW 18th Street. Crown Products provides waste disposal bags packaged for personal and public use. The company will employ 18 people at Pompano Center of Commerce II, where it will house its office and warehouse operations.

Les Byron of Sperry Van Ness represented Crown Products in the lease negotiations.

Warehouse Restaurant Supply

Warehouse Restaurant Supply leased 26,099 square feet in Building Seven at 1600 NW 18th Street. Warehouse Restaurant Supply is a Waterbury, CT-based company specializing in the sale of kitchen goods ranging from large-scale commercial appliances to tableware. The company is making its entrance into the South Florida market and will utilize the newest location in Pompano Center of Commerce II as a showroom, warehouse and distribution center.

Warehouse Restaurant Supply was represented in the lease negotiations by Scott Gordon of Newmark Partners, L.P.

Gourmet Innovations

Gourmet Innovations has relocated from Fort Lauderdale and leased 21,291 square feet in Building Six at 1550 NW 18th Street. Gourmet Innovations was founded in 2009 and specializes in the import and distribution of compressed gas products for cooking and industrial purposes. The company will house its office and warehouse operations at Pompano Center of Commerce II.

Howard Elfman of Distinctive Home Realty represented Gourmet Innovations in the lease negotiations.

Pompano Center of Commerce II is a four-building warehouse and distribution campus totaling 376,644 square feet. Three of the buildings have been constructed and the fourth is in the development pipeline. To date, Cushman & Wakefield has leased approximately 211,000 square feet of the entire project.

The single-story buildings at Pompano Center of Commerce II feature 24’ to 32’ clear heights, ESFR (Early Suppression, Fast Response) fire safety systems, T-5 lighting, four dock-high doors per bay and build-to-suit opportunities.

Pompano Center of Commerce II is centrally located in South Florida’s Tri-County area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The campus provides immediate access to Interstate 95 and Florida’s Turnpike with the Sawgrass Expressway just minutes away.
